Territory

Nantes is located in Western France on the French Atlantic coast, at only 2 hours from Paris. We are also well-connected to more than 75 international destinations from our airport.

Nantes Saint-Nazaire is a metropolis of 800 000 inhabitants with 1 million estimated by 2030. The rate of unemployment is approximately 7 % in the “Pays de la Loire” region.

Our economy is very diversified : Nantes is the 3rd largest industrial region in France with an economy built around shipbuilding, aeronautics, food processing, agro business, mechanical engineering, composite materials, health, biotechnology, marine renewable energy and electronics, with leading international companies and a myriad of start-ups.

The region has also competitive clusters in the biotherapy, plant and advanced manufacturing and production industries with many internationally recognized research centers and a very important digital sector.

The region has 6 university campuses and 11 renowned "Grandes Ecoles” such as Audencia Group offering a wide range of advanced training courses.

The World Trade Center Nantes Atlantique

Housed on the 3rd floor at the Chamber of Commerce.

the Word Trade Center (WTC) Nantes Atlantique is a Business Center offering a wide range of facilities, such as : meeting rooms with free access for members, the rental of offices and business spaces with high quality business center services (all the necessary equipment and catering). We also enable companies to register their address at the WTC.

The WTC’s network provides members with support enabling them to connect with their counterparts within the network to develop international trade.

International Ouest Club

In Nantes, the Board of the WTC decided to make a distinction between the services offered as a Business Center and the activities organized by the Club for its members.

The International Ouest Club (IOC) is hosted in the World Trade Center Nantes Atlantique.

The IOC helps domestic companies find new export markets.

The IOC is an active Business Club with more than 200 firms working abroad, and we organize business events to help members develop their business presence internationally. We allow exporters to share experiences and benefit from information on foreign markets.

Various activities are organized and promoted : company visits, workshops on trade-related themes, seminars, business meetings or working groups. Our members can also benefit from preferential agreements on business facilities.

Every year, we organize the "International Week" in Nantes with more than 1200 participants. This is the most important event dedicated to international development in France. The World Trade Center Nantes Atlantique is very proud to contribute to the international attractiveness of the Nantes Saint-Nazaire territory.
